The difference between standards, clusters, and domains is that the standards are what students should be able to do, while clusters are the summary of different standards. Meanwhile, the domains are a combination of standards. The cluster and the domains give a different perspective of the standards. Use appropriate tools strategically. This standard indicates that providing students with the appropriate materials for their work is necessary. To be considered proficient students, they must know how to solve problems with the required tools. However, some can be as simple as just pen and paper. Also, qualified students would know when to use a ruler, protractor, calculator, computer algebra system, etc. All these tools are essential for them to understand different mathematical problems during their students' lives. Efficient students would understand the time and place to use technological tools to better understand and enhance their skills in today's society. Finally, the ccss grade domains in kindergarten about counting and cardinal expect that the students can count to 100 by one and tens at the end of kindergarten. This one expects the students to learn different ways to count to 100. Childre CCSS. I agree with Dr. Kamii in some aspects of her explanation, however, I cannot entirely agree with her when she cites that " I think this standard is inappropriate for kindergarten because not many 5- and 6-year-olds understand words like "forty " and "fifty." The county is social conventional knowledge, which is teachable, but making kindergartners count to 100 is like making them memorize nonsense syllables." In this part, I completely disagree with her because we know that children at this age absorb everything. Also, repetition helps them to learn and have a different concept of numbers. On the other hand, we can not penalize the 5 and 6-year-old students with previous knowledge of the numbers.
